I recently had the pleasure of staying at EMPIRIC Keizersgracht during my visit to Amsterdam, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. Situated in the heart of the city, it's within walking distance of all the main attractions, making exploring Amsterdam a breeze. Whether you're strolling along the picturesque canals, visiting world-class museums, or sampling delicious local cuisine, everything is conveniently close by. Upon arrival, I was delighted to find that the accommodation is incredibly easy to reach from the airport, allowing for a seamless transition into the city. The host warmly welcomed me and provided helpful tips and recommendations for my stay, ensuring I made the most of my time in Amsterdam. One of the highlights of my stay was the charming backdoor garden, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling city streets. With direct access from my room, I enjoyed relaxing in the garden with a cup of coffee in the morning. While the toilet not being en suite could be considered a minor inconvenience, the host went above and beyond to accommodate guests' needs. Although the private toilet is located on the upper floor, the host graciously allowed access to another toilet on the same floor as the room during the night, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout my stay. Overall, my experience at EMPIRIC Keizersgracht was nothing short of delightful. From its prime location and friendly host to its charming garden oasis, it truly embodies the essence of Amsterdam's charm. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a memorable stay in this vibrant city.

We met Rosanne to collect our keys and as the room was on the top floor she assisted us with our bags to the room. We were made to feel very welcome and Rosanne provided us with numerous tips of places to go, things to see and food to eat etc. whilst we were visiting Amsterdam. She could not have been more helpful. The room was great, had a lovely roof top, good size and very homely. I would stay here again next time I visit Amsterdam.

The room was tidy, cozy and had everything we needed and more. The location is perfect, although I would recommend bringing earplugs, if you are sensitive to noise and go to sleep early :) (noise is not an issue later in the night though). We especially loved the nice little balcony - it provided the special experience of living on a canal. We are also thankful for the owner’s hospitality and warmth. The highlight and definitely the best bonus were the two cats!

Fabulous hotel. Beautiful decor. Original art on all the walls. The hotel bar is fabulous, books, art, board games on every table which we played nightly before dinner. Excellent staff. Special hi to Sebastian in the Library Bar. Gorgeous room overlooking the canal. One of my favourite hotels to have stayed in ever.
