Such a nice homemade breakfast with a lovely view. Close to the water and a park with some good shops and bars nearby. Easy bike ride into the city. Lovely host. Very accomodating. Would love to come and stay again one day.

It was a simple booking via booking.com. But very quick communication with the resort: it was a question of late arrival and we received a quick answer and confirmation from the redort that they will wait for us. We have booked the small house which was practically new, very clean and cosy. The staff was very friendly and helps in any situation. Next time when I visit Ultrecht I will stay certainly here. The impressive location with the river and quiet place.

The location was about 25 minutes walk from Utrecht Central. But along the way to this hotel, there is plenty of lively food and pub options. Halfway through the distance to this hotel, it quietens down considerably. But still there is a large Jumbo and Albert Heijn which are both large supermarkets where you can any grocery. The hotel itself is cosy and lovely. I got a twin room and it was large, super clean and everything worked and was suffient for my 2 night stay. My family and I loved this place. The heating working great too and there was a window which you could open for fresh air. It also overlooked a small garden and you can see part of a small canal running through the back of the hotel. Clear instructions related to our stay was printed out onto a piece of paper and handed to us together with our room key.

Beautifully decorated en-suite room with access to kitchen facilities. Lovely toiletry products provided. Option to have breakfast provided or you can use the fridge, crockery etc and prepare your own. Lydia is a great host. The location is excellent for countryside cycling and also taking the bus into the vibrant city of Utrecht.
