Everything was excellent. I just didn’t get to experience the pool due to the cold water temperature but the room very clean and very comfortable. Also, everything smelled very nice. The breakfast was delicious!!

Once you opened the door to the property, what a wonderful surprise! The entrance patio and outside area is gorgeous! Gudrun has decorated the entire property tastefully and the outside shower, potted succulents and water features are beautiful. The room and bathroom are decorated beautifully, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. A kettle, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a bar fridge are supplied. There is a double cupboard with plenty of space. We found parking easily on the road as we came and went it was easy to find space, but when locals return from work, it can get more busy. If we are in Lagoa again, we most certainly will be back!

The room was spotlessly clean. Bravo to the cleaning staff! The bed was big and comfortable, plenty of covers, and pillows. Bathroom was very clean, and had nice toiletries. The check in process was very easy. Staff very nice. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. The hotel is very close to the beach and only a block away from restaurants, bars, stores. Everything exceeded my expectations. One thing to note, is the room looks bigger on the website, but was fine, and we had plenty of room to feel comfortable.

We had a great stay - the hosts are extremely welcoming and nice, the room is comfortable and has everything you need (kitchen, a nice terrace, right next to the plunge pool and breakfast area). The area is very quiet but just a 5-minute ride away from the village of Alvor and 10 from some beautiful beaches. There are a few restaurants and cafes just a few minutes by foot. Would come back for sure!

I am afraid I won't be able to adequately describe how beautiful is the area where hotel is situated and how peaceful and unique the hotel itself is. Just hope to come back in warmer season to enjoy private secluded beach the hotel offers. As others said welcome by the owner was outstanding. The room we stayed in was large with floor to ceiling closets, all new. Bathroom was excellent. The favorite was the balcony and breakfast with a view. We were very happy with our stay and recommend this hotel highly.
