Amazing little raft apartment! It had a beautiful design, stunning sunrise view, lovely deck, fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom. The hammock was awesome to just lie in for the whole morning I wish I could stay longer! I chose this spot as a break away from the busier Koh Lanta west coast and it was so tranquil and perfect. The wonderful hostess was super helpful and booked a tour for me the next day. She was easy to reach and communicated everything upfront. I went to their family restaurant in town and had the best curry of my two months in Thailand. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Great location for exploring old town. Very friendly owners that go above and beyond to help out with bookings, taxis, laundry, scooter hire, etc. Good english too! The photos do not do the room justice (the owner should clarify that you get sea view from the room and it includes a self contained kitchen, lounge and private balcony). It is all shown in the photos on booking.com, but it is not clear that you get everything as part of the "double room with sea view and balcony," and not just the house as a whole. Place is newly refurbished with great a/c, strong wifi, comfy bed, and a large fridge. Awesome view.

The breakfast was simple, but good. The tastiest food was, when I had a sore throat. The older lady (I assume the mother of the owner) prepared a soup just for me without expecting anything back. I don't know the name of that soup (something local), but it was really delicious and helped me to get over my illness. Later she brought me also tea with honey and throat tablets, which was very cute and helpful.

We, a friends group of two couples, really enjoyed the stay! We had a whole washing machine as well as fresh drinking water for ourselves. The owner, Namwhan is super nice and helpful, so if something goes wrong, you can be sure that she will take very good care of it. Also we really enjoyed the sunrise in the morning while sitting on the terrace surrounded by the sea. Scooter renting is also no problem, because she works together with the neighbours of the "Deep House" that offer you scooters in a very good condition for a super fair price. The very short walking distance to the amazing but pricey Lanta Old Town is a big plus as well. We would book the Star House Seaview anytime again and can highly recommend the place! 👍🏻

We just had a fantastic stay. In reality it is better than the pictures. The standard is not very high in Thailand in terms of facilities, but this one is by far the best during our current trip. And not to forget the beautiful old town...I am not sure why people think it is boring, it is just beautiful! In the morning and evening, when the tourists are gone you feel the authentic Thailand. We regret now that we only booked for 2 nights, we miss it already.
