We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The swimming pool was clean and conveniently located in front of the rooms, offering a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The central location was perfect, with easy access to everything we needed. We are especially grateful to Mr. Mohammed for his guidance in exploring Zanzibar and for arranging our airport transfers.

Babalao is a small oasis in Nungwi within steps of the beach. It is tranquil and I felt safe as a solo traveler. The room was comfortable and clean in the middle of lush gardens. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The lounge chairs and bar near the pool were nice. Upon arrival , the owners gave me a short private tour of the area and recommendations for activities and restaurants. They were attentive daily. I also got a very good massage at the Cucumber studio on the premises.

A true paradise in Zanzibar. My stay was unforgettable: the lodge is idyllic, well looked after, and has a lovely atmosphere. The food is excellent, the cocktails are delicious, and the staff are consistently cheerful and kind. The owner is very attentive and genuinely involved in sorting out anything you might need. The pool lit up at night is magical, and the little music area completes the perfect vibe. I left feeling sad to go… and already wanting to come back.

Everything was perfect ! The hotel is gorgeous, has a direct access to a lovely beach on nungwi. The hotel has a perfect hygiene, everything is clean. The entire staff is one of the best I have ever experienced. Even before my arrival everything was smoothly organized with the hotel. The communication was very easy, smooth and efficient ! The staff is lovely, smiling and friendly persons. The location is the best, between beach, restaurants and near to the center of nungwi. Excellent location to access the excursion from nungwi. The hotel is a 10/10 that made my stay in zanzibar exceptionnal ! I highly recommend ! For solo traveller, family or couple the Dhow Boutique is magical !

We stayed 11 nights at Casa Dantes and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, you can be at the beach within 5 minutes. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast waiting for us, with something different each day for great variety. Our room was cleaned daily, and the owner Marco and his staff did everything they could to make our stay as relaxing as possible. The massage room was also excellent. Marco is incredibly kind and always happy to have a chat or give helpful travel tips. We had very relaxing days here and will definitely come back. Highly recommended, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
