Wonderful! Beautiful hotel, clean well appointed room. Small neighborhood vibe, close to University of Chicago hospital. My Dad and I stayed while my mom was in ICU at the hospital. Chris, at the front desk, was AMAZING. He was kind, welcoming, compassionate and helped us with parking and reservations. Chris and the Sophy were a gem in a different time. Thank you!

This hotel is located within 5 minutes’ drive of the University of Chicago campus N and 11 km south of the Loop. The hotel offers free daily shuttle service between 7am until 7pm.

The staff were lovely, especially the door managers. Chuck was there when we arrived and was super helpful getting our bags and car sorted. He also ran around the neighbourhood helping us find a restaurant. Please commend him on his friendliness and helpfulness. The man who was on our last day (6/13/23) was also amazing. It was 6pm and raining. We couldn’t get a cab or Uber through the usual channels and he rang a taxi driver friend who was there in 5 mins.. exactly the help that makes staying in a hotel preferable to an Airbnb.

First of all location - next to the blue line to O'Hare airport. The hotel is next to the loop too and most of the downtown atractions are in the walking distance. Room was big and beds were really comfortable. They were cleaned daily. The staff was friendly and super helpful- they would share what'd happening in the downtown worth seeing (blues festival). Great value for money. Lots of eating options nearby. I will come back here, if I'm ever again in Chicago.
