The Rasmus is, without a doubt, a true oasis in the capital city. The rooms are beautifully appointed, showcasing an impeccable sense of style and comfort. I particularly appreciated the artwork throughout the hotel. The outdoor spaces are equally enchanting. The spectacular koi fish pond in the gardens provides a perfect space for quiet reflection, and the opportunity to wake up to buck and calves grazing in the distance is truly delightful. What truly sets The Rasmus apart, however, is the staff. They are dedicated, professional, helpful, and genuinely friendly, ensuring every need is met with a warm smile. While I didn't dine in, the breakfast was good. The Rasmus has instantly become my hotel of choice in Pretoria, and I look forward to my next stay!

The owner and her helpers were so warm and welcoming. They anticipated our every need and supplied it graciously and with a smile. They were genuinely caring. The room was spotless and well designed and with top class finishes. The little kitchenette was a real boon to make snacks and drinks (and to heat up readymade dinners as in our case). The bathroom was very spacious with wonderful products. The garden is lush and inviting with outside tables and chairs. We were invited to relax and enjoy it. The breakfast room was airy and was part of the garden. The breakfasts were delicious . We could have both continental and hot-cooked meals, made to order. The cook is excellent ! Fresh coffee was available, fresh ground beans used in a state-of-the-art machine.
