Secure gated parking. Berna is a great host and her English is excellent, which makes it easier for international tourists. Clean room with lots of storage space. The shower and bathroom are modern looking and clean. Guests can cook in the house, although we didn't do it. Brenda prepares a great breakfast for her guests.

Cabaña Vista Verde ligger ca. 22 km fra Ujarras Ruins. Her er balkon, kaffemaskine og udsigt til en have. The place was much bigger than we'd expected, honestly a great value for the price. Shower water was heated, place was well equipped, even had a washing machine, just without a dryer unfortunately.

Cabañas el Bosque ligger indenfor 32 km fra Ujarras Ruins og har restaurant, en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og en bar. Både wi-fi og privat parkering tilbydes gratis hos campingpladsen. Very nice experience. The cabins were not difficult to find and remote enough to have privacy and some quiet. There were towels, indoor bathroom/shower, coffee facilities, and basic cooking supplies in the room which was nice. They even had a microwave and fridge. I was given the choice between a volcano or town view, and I chose the volcano. They had a small parking lot and good breakfast at whatever time you ask for - traditional Costa Rican breakfast. You can pay by card at the property. There were a few short 1km trails, a pool, and a playground available, which would be nice when it's warmer. The host was friendly and each cabin had WiFi, although some of it was a little unstable. I still had 4G data connection, which made it a very nice stay! About 40 min drive to Turrialba. I spoke Spanish with the host - unsure of her English ability.
