This hotel is 4 km from Hämeenlinna Train Station. It offers free 1 GB WiFi, private parking and daily 3-hour spa passes. A 6-lane bowling alley is also found on site. We loved our stay here! The hotel has a slightly old-fashioned style, but it’s nice and comfortable. The location is amazing — lakes, trails, nature is around, yet only 10–15 minutes by bike to the city center. We travelled with our dog and got a ground-floor room with direct access to the grass, which was very convenient. The hotel even gave our dog a small gift. Breakfast was varied, with gluten-free options, and even decaf coffee (instant, but still nice). The spa is excellent, with direct access from the hotel (note: saunas are separate for men and women). Staff were friendly and helpful:) Some reviews say that the air conditioning doesn’t work well — this is true. There was a fan in the room, and it got a bit stuffy at night in summer. But opening the window solved the problem, and it was very quiet outside.
