UNO HOTEL ligt in Tamano, op 21 km van Hashihime Inari Daimyojin Shrine, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. This hotel is in a quiet town in a really central location to reach the islands in the Seto Inland sea. It is right opposite the station and port, and so easy to find. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with great beds and balconies you actually want to sit on. Toilet is separate from the bathroom which we always love! The real point of difference re. this hotel though is the Japanese bathhouse and restaurant which are a short walk down the road behind the hotel. Use of the onsen is complimentary for hotel residents and we used it every day we were there. The onsen facilities are very comfortable and atmospheric and the food/ambience in the restaurant is wonderful and not at all expensive. After big days of walking around Teshima and Naoshima it was so lovely to come back here on the ferry and just relax.

HIYASAI -LOGIN Kurashiki- ligt in Kurashiki, op 10 km van Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park en 11 km van Tanematsuyama Park. Clean, comfortable, and extremely spacious! The facilities were modern and well-maintained. Kitchen area and washing machine was a huge plus.

滔々 倉敷民藝館南の宿 toutou, Mingeikan Minami no Yado ligt in Kurashiki, op 8,6 km van Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park en 10 km van Tanematsuyama Park, en biedt kamers met gratis WiFi. The most beautiful, quiet Japanese house for first time travellers! Facilities were great and location was absolutely amazing. There are plenty of cafes and local stores (ceramic stores) surrounding hotel which was awesome for exploring. Although it is out of Okayama, staying in Kurashiki was much better to get away from busy crowds. Highly recommended, worth the money!!

Temari Inn Yukikai ligt in Kurashiki, op 3 minuten lopen van Shinkeien-tuin, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. A lovely inn and an amazing staff! We will come back 🙌

The Shiroyama Terrace Tsuyama Villa ligt in Tsuyama, op 2 minuten lopen van Tsuyama Wonder Museum, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Op onze rondreis verbleven we voor 1 nacht in dit hotel. Zeer comfortabele kamer en badkamer. Wij hadden twee eenpersoonsbedden van elk 1 meter breed. Hotel ziet er echt mooi uit. Heerlijke baden op de bovenste verdieping met uitzicht. Ontbijt is heel goed. Personeel zeer attent. Je kan in het hotel dineren of in een van de nabij gelegen restaurants. Een goed restaurant zit 2 straten verderop.

Touchian beschikt over uitzicht op de stad, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin en een terras, op 15 minuten lopen van Kuni Shrine. The facilities were exceptional with a nice LARGE bath, plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. Owner was very caring and filled the fridge with delicious local food, including the legendary Okayama Pione grape. Will come again next time we need to stay at Okayama!

滔々 御崎 町家の宿 toutou Onzaki Machiya no Yado ligt in de wijk Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter in Kurashiki, dicht bij Shinkeien-tuin, en heeft een tuin, gratis WiFi en een wasmachine. We loved this house. It's in a perfect location in the Bikan Historical Quarter. It's easy to find. The staff welcome you in the toutou Gallery and provide information for your stay. The actual house was beautiful, traditional but still modern. There are all the amenities you could possibly require! The fruits provided for the breakfast were so delicious! It really is a wonderful place to stay. We didn't want to leave!

Panda Stay Okayama bevindt zich in Okayama, op nog geen minder dan 1 km van Shimoishii Park en biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Great location and it was wonderful having the washing machine and dryer. Very comfortable.

Guest House Toranjyo-lit is gelegen in Tamano, op 24 km van Sogenji Temple, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een restaurant. Een prachtig mooi oud gebouw, supervriendelijk personeel. Het ligt heel gunstig vlakbij de haven om de boot te nemen naar de Setouchi eilanden. Communicatie ook erg goed.
