I had a great stay at La Abuelita Hostal. The staff were very friendly, helpful and always made sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were very clean and the hostel has a homely atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The location is excellent and close to everything. I do recommend La Abuelita if you're coming to San Cristóbal. I'd definitely stay there again.

The hostel is just beautiful and you feel at home. The room was perfect, clean, comfortable and the bathroom was great too. Nancy, Nily, Mabel and all the ladies working there are just wonderful!! Wish I could have stayed longer. My favourite hostel ever!! Very sociable, everyone has breakfast together in the morning which is cooked just for you in the kitchen in front of you. It really feels like staying with your family!

Ideally situated in the center of San Cristobal de las Casas, this hotel is less than 3 blocks from the city's main square and offers a variety of convenient amenities for the modern traveler. This is a wonderful hotel. Very customer oriented, clean, in a great yet quiet location. Highly recommended. Psst. They do a laundry service for a great price by kilogram.
