I really appreciated the calm, serene setting, so much so that I stayed an extra night. It was just what I needed after a very busy week travelling down from Dakar seeing so many different things and places, this was the perfect antedote. The staff are a really lovely team, especially Mamy and Khassim - I’ll miss you both! I liked waking up to the sounds of nature, watching the crabs doing their rituals on the small beach, identifying various birds on the river and within the mangrove. The free kayaking is worth doing. Food was European style and three courses available for dinner, quality was decent. I met some other travellers and we had such a nice time, having apéro, dinner and doing a pirogue tour together. The Bazouk kindly arranged a taxi for me from Joal-Fadiouth. All in all I had an amazing time here, merci à tous 🤎

Maison Fimela - Boutique Hotel ligger i Fimela og har en udendørs swimmingpool, fitnesscenter, en have og restaurant. Maison Fimela was the perfect place to end our trip to Senegal. It is nestled in a stunning location, the food was superb and the staff (including Chloe) were all hugely helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Estelle is amazing! She is a super gentle and interesting person and she helped us in any possible way organizing the trip etc. we had a great time, the place is beautiful, many birds and extremely well kept. Would fully recommend to stay there if you want to visit the area.

Clean and spacious room, with mosquito nets over the beds that allowed us to sleep peacefully. The only place where we didn't find any mosquitoes. The owner helped us with everything. The house has a large shared kitchen with everything you need.

The room is absolutely fantastic, so comfortable with a super comfy bed, air conditioning that works well, nice bathroom with good water pressure, and a bonus of a nice kitchen with everything you could need. On top of that, the location is great, with a beautiful view of sunrise and the river, lots of nice wind, close to the river and village. On top of that, there's a pool! And on that of that, Joseph and Penda and Alecia are wonderful hosts. Joseph is super nice, he'll take you everywhere and show you everything including his beautiful secret spots. I really enjoyed my stay and wanted to stay longer but it was booked up.

The staff was so welcoming and helpfull, so natural. The food was just amazing, she cooks very well. And las but not the least, their boatman is the "best", so professionnal, kind, and a "Chef".

La Teranga Toubacouta ligger i Bani, 23 km fra Fathala Dyrereservat og 49 km fra Niumi National Park. Her er gratis wi-fi, aircondition, en udendørs swimmingpool og en have. A very welcoming manager, Ibrahim. He organized tours for us and arranged transport to another hotel. We also felt at home in this hotel, as the excellent chef prepared fresh and delicious meals based on our preferences. The entire staff was very attentive and helpful. The location is close to the boat dock, where tours to Shell Island are organized. We wish you success!
