They built a stone house in the steep mountain of their farm where they grow olive and carob trees. Our kids got to play with and feed their farm animals and we also learned how to make cheese. As we did not have a car, Michalis drove us around the area. He took us to see the water bottling plant (Zaros) which was very interesting for us as we had never been inside an automated factory.

The host is very nice.They gave us electric kettle and tea, water, welcome drink, candles. They made for us everything to make our stay comfortable! Very nice and calm place.The Viglia Beach only 5 minutes by walk and one of the best and clean beaches i ever seen. The family also have 3 bicycles, which we could use to go to the mini market . In 15 minutes by walk there is a fish Taverna in Kissamos Port. You can also eat some pizza near by in Gravmousa Bay Bar( Viglia Beach) Thank you very much for this family.

It was one of the nicest places I expected in Crete. I enjoyed the facility construction architecture the atmosphere it was brilliant and beautiful super romantic just perfect for a couple of vacation. The hosts were unbelievable and they invited us for dinner and for drinks and fresh vegetables in the morning from the farm, possibly one of the best days I’ve ever had anywhere

Amazing place! This was our second visit to Crete, and it was fantastic. If you’re looking for a place with its own unique style and the spirit of the ’70s - this is the one! Vassilis waited for us all night (baking fresh bread at the time!) - we arrived around 3 AM. In the morning, he prepared delicious eggs with an incredible sauce and fresh tomatoes - all the ingredients were local and organic. The sea is just a few minutes away, and we always found sunbeds under an umbrella on the beach. There are two tavernas nearby: the old one and the new one - we highly recommend the new one! But the most special part is the atmosphere and the amazing company we had at the hotel in the evenings, and it’s all thanks to Gabriela. She creates real magic!!! Meeting guests from different countries, cooking traditional dishes together, and chatting late into the night. I want more) It was so cozy, fun, and inspiring to spend time with Gabriela and the other guests that we didn’t even want to leave the place in the evenings. The property is spacious, the rooms are clean and simple, there’s a beautiful rock, the dog Willy, cats, cicada singing - and most importantly, the perfect vibe. And those little doors with the tiny windows - I’m in love! I wish everyone could feel that vibe🤌
