De locatie was fantastisch, hele fijne plek om Elba te verkennen. We werden hartelijk welkom geheten door Stefano, op zijn mooie agrarische landgoed. Geheel omheind en je mocht overal komen, ook handig met onze hond. Fijn huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien! Zeker een aanrader!

The location was perfect and the host was a total gentleman. The island is beautiful and amazing location for getting around the area. Decent little town nearby for food and great cafés.

Tenuta La Chiusa ligt op een privéterrein van 20 hectare aan de Golf van Portoferraio, op een paar meter van het strand. Het biedt accommodatie in een historisch gebouw met uitzicht op zee. It was awesome! Beautiful place, super calm, all tidy. Staff is taking really great care. We can definitely recommend it and will come hopefully back and bring also our friends:)

Serena (with Giorgia, who works there) are super nice and helpful. The place itself is lovely, quiet with a fantastic view, but only a few minutes drive from Rio Marina. Very nice breakfast, and good-sized swimming pool. The property is on the Eastern side of Elba, which is quieter. The most famous beaches are in the West, but they are much, much busier - and the beaches on the East are much calmer and just as pretty.
