We toured by bus then train from Poderica to Skadar. The train is primitive. We were dropped off far outside the unannounced station at night. we jumped down from the open door onto the tracks more than a meter below with our luggage in a dark forest about 500 m. from some lights in the distance and Nancy has mobility issues. The hotel family picked us up an hour later..the station was closed. The family was gracious.

Village experience - Skadar lake ligger ca. 27 km fra Bar-havnen og har en terrasse, gårdhave og bjergudsigt. The apartment was absolutely fantastic: clean, huge, bright and beautiful. Comfy beds. It was extremely well equipped. Beautiful views of the mountains and lake. The owners: Marija and Milos were extremely helpful and attentive. We will definitely come back again!
