Loves this boutique hotel, location is spot on. If you have not been to Oia before (like us) then it is difficult to work out where to stay. This location is superb as you are about 5 mins walk from the pedestrianised part of Oia centre, this means that:- 1) you can get picked up and dropped off from airport and any trips very easily without needing to fight through any tourists. 2) being 5 mins walk means that you don’t have loads of tourists posing for pictures virtually in your room (like you do in the centre). 3) you are so close to everything but you still have a little peace from those getting buses in to visit Oia. 4) you can visit Oia centre early or later in the day when the crowds disperse and you have a more relaxed experience. The staff are great, we had x2 massages (excellent) and also ate at some restaurants that were recommended by the hotel, they were excellent (especially Mia next door for lunch with a view and also FINO… Fino was excellent for food and cocktails! Get the lobster spring rolls). Hot tub is as perfect temperature and the bed was comfy, really liked the room and how quiet it was being soundproofed. Also great Bluetooth speaker and nespresso in the room and small fridge with soft drinks and new safe. The views are breathtaking and we also did a catamaran sunset cruise that we booked through the hotel and this was also exceptional. So glad we chose Abyss out of all the options, really the location stands out compared to the others we looked at as when we saw these when exploring they were covered with tourists on the stairs and taking photos so had no real privacy. Recommend Domaine Sigalas winery for tasting and lunch (5 min taxi) and then all other sites were walking distances. 3 nights was perfect for us to explore Oia which is beautiful

Everything was so great: the room, the staff, the service, the breakfast, attention to the details… you feel they care :) Luxury and amazing views! SPA treatments also very high level. Location is also very convenient - you can walk to Ammoudi Bay or Oia center. Or you can ask for a ride :) Definitely comming back during the next trip to Santorini.

Perfect location, great ocean view, near to bus station, not so much steps from the street, Only 7 min walking to Sunset View Point. A lot of nice restaurants near to the hotel. Pre-order for breakfast was high quality of foods at very nice and comfortable terrace, volume was very nice. Reception staff, she was so kindness and gave us a nice recommendation of the restaurant. Thank you for her great hospitality! We had a wonderful 40th wedding anniversary trip!!!

Superior customer service, very friendly and helpful staff. They assisted us in searching for and booking all activities. They were refreshing the room each time we left the hotel. The room was spacious, spotless, and came with all amenities you could think of. The mini bar was complimentary, and the food was excellent. It was my best hotel experience ever to the extent that they prepared us breakfast boxes for the trip the day we checked out early in the morning. Excellent value for money. Thank you

Everything! From the moment we arrived to the moment we sadly had to leave.... We where treated like royalty. The breakfast was amazing, the sunset, the bar, the staff, the room, the pools, the location, the privacy, all the help from the concierges before arriving and during our stay. They helped me make my husbands birthday amazing. Honestly, the staff and the experience in this hotel was top!!!!! What a pleasure it was to stay here and i would definitly come back!!! thank you!

We loved the room we stayed in. It had a caldera view from the window and door. Outside our door, we had a hot tub and the caldera view, which my husband immensely enjoyed. The breakfast was terrific. We loved that breakfast was included. We were served a centennial breakfast first and followed a breakfast choice from the menu. The staff was professional and attentive. The caldera view was breathtaking. Photos didn’t do justice. Finally, we loved how exclusive the hotel was.

The level of service was amazing. The stuff was really incredibly helpful and kind. Top of the class. The a la carte breakfast was delicious, each morning was served in our room. Rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished in a very contemporary cycladian style and had all the amenities of a 5 stars hotel. A plus was the access to Aspaki Hotel (the sister hotel) were, even though you cannot see the sunset, yet you can get a better view of the Caldera during the day.

First of all "Location" is amazing!!! The staff welcomed us with the glass of lovely cocktails in the reception and with the Bottle of wine in the room. A beautiful breakfast was delivered to our room every morning so we could enjoy our lovely food on the balcony with breathtaking views. The private hot tub was amazing. The staff were absolutely fantastic. 5 stars from us and definitely would recommend to all the couples that want to spend some time together in a fantastic atmosphere.
