Wonderful hotel with very attentive and friendly staff. All things were very well planned out. The breakfast was really excellent, the egg menu was great. Location from the centre of the village was a bit far, however there is a free skibus that stops right outside the hotel. And being a bit further away meant that it was absolutely quiet.

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park.

Everything, the spa was not crowded and plenty of space. The bed is ultra confortable. The staff is incredible. Bikes are free. They also gave us some swimsuit as we forgot ours. We could as well borrow a backpack for free. Charging the car is free at night. What else?

Everything, the house is so comfortable that even just sitting in the balcony overlooking the lake Brienz eating b/l/d or just drinking coffee makes us feel so good and relax. What truly is a vacation. It is clean and have all what we need with twins around (we cooked most of the time and have all that we need). The location is really good too with nearby supermarket and restaurant around. Owner is also really warm and accomodating. Next time (definitely visit switzerland for the nth time) I will definitely make sure to stay here again :)
