Whitsunday Sands Resort har en unik beliggenhed på sin egen private halvø ved det turkisblå vand i Great Barrier Reef. Samtlige gæster har privat adgang til 2 separate, pragtfulde strande. An outstanding place to stay sandwiched between two attractive beaches on the outskirts of Bowen. Our upstairs unit was spacious and clean and had fabulous views from the valcony out over the well kept grounds to the ocean. We self catered, but the motel has a bar and there is a restaurant down by one of the beaches which is open on certain days of the week. I understand there is also a Thai restaurant nearby which opens at weekends. We enjoyed the circular walk up to the radar station lookout and clambering over the rocks to a couple more secuded coves. There is also a swimming pool sensibly situated to the side of the building we were in. Reception was friendly and efficient, and we appreciated the on site laundry.

The cabin was equipped with everything I needed, from the comfortable furnishings to the thoughtful amenities. The peaceful surroundings and warm lighting made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a quiet, country-style retreat!

Great value for money! The rooms are clean, the WiFi is excellent, and we even received a voucher for a drink upon arrival. I totally recommend this place! Plus, there's plenty of parking available.
