Parking was on site and safe; the property is gated. The property is well located to enjoy area activities, and it makes an excellent stopover on the way to La Fortuna. The owner is beyond generous with his time and knowledge of the area. Breakfast was homemade and brought to my door.

The communal spaces were peaceful and comfortable. The staff was truly amazing. Although we were not able to see Poas Volcano as the park was closed, spending a little more time at the lodge was an unexpected gift.
