We were privileged to be the guests of one of the eight wonderful rooms in the hotel. Arriving at the hotel from the village of Gavarnie-Gèdre tells the whole story of how wonderful the hotel and its staff are. Over everything, as in a harmonious concert, triumphs a wonderful, kind, funny and special woman named Carolyn who gives the hotel its warm and special atmosphere and pays attention to every detail with a constant smile and kind eyes, a woman of many actions who turns out to be a skilled off-road driver and a wonderful bartender and especially a kind conversationalist. The dinner at the hotel is as perfect as the hotel. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared with delicacy and beauty that do not hint at the explosion of flavors that came later, a masterpiece and served to the table by Eric, a warm, funny and special man. The world must have been divided between those who were in this magical hotel and do not forget it and those who will come to it.
