The staff is so sweet and the chefs are so talented. You've got to try their non-veg Tamil thali for lunch <3 The cooking demos are so fun and educational. The location is perfect for a stroll on the promenade and the beach. They've a lot of tours/activities to do through the property. You can also rent an e-bike and cruise through the quaint lanes near the Sri Aurobindo Ashram.

Located in the old French town along Suffren Street, Villa Shanti is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Promenade Beach. Great location within walking distance (or by auto) for all major sights. The staff were excellent and could not do enough for you, always smiling. The breakfast was fabulous with so much food; it is definitely a hotel for foodies. We can’t wait to go back to Pondicherry and the Villa Shanti!
