We had a really great time relaxing within nature. The staff were very nice and helped us a lot because we had some issues with the train station. I would definitely recommend visiting for tranquility and relaxing.

The onsen was spacious, with an option for both indoor and outdoor. The futons were very comfortable in our rooms, with an added bonus of some snacks that the room service staff would kindly refill. Breakfast and dinner were both buffet, with a wide variety of food. If you choose to stay more than one night, the staff will nicely prepare an additional course ontop of the buffet for dinner at no additional charge (which was a pleasant surprise!). The hotel has a night snack in the form of ramen as well. The staff were very friendly, even the shuttle bus drivers.

The staff were friendly to a fault and even if they can't keep up with English, they'd do anything to help you. The place is old, that's what you get for looking for an onsen ryokan but it's well maintained and the cuisine offered was faultless.

We had a very spacious room with a beautiful ocean view. We especially enjoyed the complimentary beverage service. The staff was very helpful. Food was very good, but did not offer much in variety if staying multiple days. It's a little out of the way, but there is shuttle service available to Toba Station if you wish to venture off and do some sightseeing. Just be sure to leave and return between the shuttle service hours.

Good breakfast, bathhouse and certainly shuttle bus services helped a lot! Sadly, the pool was not available although I was planning to swim there. The view from bed room was amazing.
