He took us to the Gedi ruins for a half day trip, which was a great experience.

All staff members were so good - reception, animators, grill chef (one of the best squids I had), pasta chef, bartenders, aqua gym, helpers, hotel manager… everyone.

Temple Point Resort is located in Watamu Marine National Park at the junction of the Mida Creek and Indian Ocean. We had an incredible stay at Temple Point in Watamu, Kenya. From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding. The first person we met was Carol at reception, who was so warm and welcoming. She made us feel right at home and was always easy to communicate with whenever we had needed anything. Our first day was filled with fun thanks to Nardos who was our tour guide. He kept us laughing and was a great explainer during our local tour activity. We also had a fantastic Tuktuk driver throughout our stay, and I highly recommend reaching out to him when you're in Watamu. A special shoutout to Captain Sam who made our sunset boat cruise unforgettable! Be sure to make a reservation for his dhow cruise; you can find him on Instagram at Captian_Sammy_Dhow. We also had an amazing experience at the gym where we met Daniel one of the staff members. He was incredibly friendly and helpful and motivating my boyfriend during his workouts and providing personalized tips. If you're looking for a supportive personal trainer definitely seek him out! Every staff member including our airport drivers made us feel welcome and ensured we were satisfied with our stay. The environment was clean, our rooms were comfortable and the service was excellent. The food was delicious especially breakfast where Chef Gabriel made a special egg dish that we both loved. The spa was fantastic and relaxing, We enjoyed it. I highly recommend Temple Point to anyone planning to visit Watamu. You won't be disappointed!
