The Waves Unawatuna ligt in Unawatuna, op een paar minuten lopen van Unawatuna Beach, en biedt uitzicht op de zee. Everything was amazing! The rooms have everything you need and more. The beds are super comfortable – I slept better here than anywhere else in Sri Lanka. The staff are a solid 10/10: every day they offered me an upgrade room free of charge, complimentary fresh juice and water, and when I asked for a late check-out they were happy to accommodate me. The location is excellent, just steps from the sea with incredible views of the beach. I would definitely come back!

We were very impressed by the Sinhalese food and the hospitable service.

Wonderful family run establishment located in a beautiful setting in walking distance to beach and close to great restaurants but away from the crowded touristy area. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. We had a deluxe king studio that was large with a kitchenette, dining table, living room and balcony. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean.

We received a lovely room in one of the upper floors. Apparently it was recently done (or redone), everything was brand new. Bathroom is positively huge, the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The staff is super friendly and are always willing to help 😊 !!

We enjoyed our stay at Agnus so much that we didn’t leave !!! We were going to visit Galle for the evening but stayed and enjoyed cocktails at sunset beside the pool and a delicious dinner at the in house restaurant. There was plenty to choose from, Delicious Sri Lankan curry and European for my teenage son. From the warm welcome to the stunning views we were really blown away. The manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect - Thank you. The pool bar tender was lovely and made delicious cocktails. The roof top infinity pool was stunning and the boutique nature of the hotel made our stay feel special. Our corner room had spectacular views of the Ocean and the room was clean and tidy, with a nice tiled bathroom. I highly recommend Agnus for an enjoyable place to stay.
