Uniquely located in the heart of Peneda/Gerês National Park, this Pousada overlooks the river Cávado and the peaceful Caniçada dam. It offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant with panoramic views. It was a small homely hotel. Breakfast was excellent, and the little touches like fruit and water in the room increased the homeliness. Coffee and teamaking facilities in the room were well received. The views across the lake to the mountains opposite were stupendous.
