All well-appointed non-smoking rooms have a flat-screen cable TV and sofa seating area. We stayed in a room facing the sea and it was really really nice and spacious for a family stay. The staff was extremely helpful. When we get there our daughter had already started to get sick and they arranged the room and give us a chance to check out a bit early. Food is good value. Breakfast is decent.

You don’t need to go out since everything you need is in the resort. Has it’s own unique charm so many spots to chill the under the tree was a personal favorite. Rooms were also big you can be in the garden villa or have a private pool and even have beach fronts property. Staff were kind, food is amazing as well.

Staff provided us with rides as necessary and was quick to respond to any needs we had.

The lodge is still close to restaurants, bars, and shops. You can tell that the owner paid attention to every little detail, providing books, a yoga mat, music box, plates and cutlery, etc. Another big plus is that they organize your pick-up and drop-off at the pier, which makes traveling here super easy. We had an amazing time here, extended our stay for two more days and still were not ready to leave this place after a week. We really hope to come back one day!

Located in Koh Tao, Mae Ya Resort features 4-star accommodation with private balconies. The property is situated 1.7 km from Aow Leuk Beach, 8.5 km from Ao Muong and 3 km from Shark Island. The resort provides an outdoor swimming pool and room service and free WiFi. We liked the room and private pool. Really enjoyed the views. The receptionist was super nice with us all time, we asked if we could stay a bit longer cause we had the ferry at 3:30pm and she said it was fine. We also rented a motorbike from there which includes an insurance, the experience in overall was very good. Super recommended place to stay.

It was a perfect stay, kids and family friendly resort. It was really nice, it was better then i expected it to be. When you enter the resort there is a little friendly monkey to welcome you. I am hoping to come back next year!
