ALISHAN HOTEL is located in Xianglin Village, Alishan Township, Chiayi County. It takes about 2.5 hours by car from Chiayi City to reach the Alishan National Scenic Area. Alishan Hotel is located in the Alishan Recreation Nature Reserve where walking trails are right at your doorstep. Shuttle buses were available every 30min to the Alishan Visitor Centre where there are some shops and food places. Hotel room was large, airy and clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Amenities provided were of high quality. Water pressure from shower is strong with hot water on demand, and heater in the room was welcome in December when the weather was cold. Staff at the hotel reception, shuttle bus, restaurant and room cleaning staff were all polite and proactively thinking of their guests. The 7th floor deck’s views of sunset was surreal. My family and I truly had a fabulous stay and we would return to Alishan Hotel again.

Hotel is located in a very quiet area, with parking lots right in front of hotel. Hotel has wheelchair access and lift. Room was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful bouquet of flowers in the entrance. Massive entrance hall to the hotel, high ceilings. Lots of facilities. we missed last orders for food but they especially cooked for us. Beds were firm which was great for my bad back. There is also a softplay room which was nice for the kids and there is a decent looking gym 👍
