Close to maun but yet you still feel like you in the true wilderness. The camp has a home feel and everyone is very welcoming and friendly. There is some great projects happening at the camp and looking forward to seeing them develop as time goes on.

These sand colored tents feature an en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. They are equipped with a mosquito net, tea-and-coffee making facilities and a terrace with outdoor dining area. We had a wonderful time at Tshima Bush camp with the family. The tent was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Russell and Verena are wonderful hosts, who have put a lot of time and effort into turning the camp into a little slice of paradise (everything is made of wood, metal and other natural materials, very sustainable). Our son loved playing in the camp grounds with the animals (Bella the dog, the kitties, Kentucky the chicken and many birds), we loved sitting around the table enjoying the views and relaxing. Verena is an amazing cook, who cooks all meals from scratch (I strongly recommend the lunch and/or dinner option). Sitting next to the fire with other guests and sampling her delicacies, while sharing stories about Africa, was an experience to treasure. The mokoro trip in the Okavanago Delta was the highlight of our trip. Thank you for everything Russell and Verena (and Bella of course)!

Providing a private entrance, a dining area and a wardrobe, this tent includes a shared bathroom. The unit offers 2 beds. What a great spot, away from noisy Maun, but close enough to enjoy the perks of Maun. We had no difficulty finding the place, although you need to drive a few km over dirt road. The staff was very friendly and well organised, the food was delicious. The chef made a special vegetable diner for me, on request, which made me very happy. After diner (with great view) you can sit around the campfire to share your days experiences. The staff can organise all kinds of activities, we wish we had known that in advance. This lodge is absolutely worth a visit, don’t hessitate is you think about going here.

We absolutely loved the camp and the staff was super helpful, from offering us another fan, and extension cord to run it from a different area in the room, to assisting us to the max when we lost our number plate. They went above and beyond in helping us out. The pool is great!
