It felt like we were in a tropical paradise. The tents were large, spacious, clean and comfortable, surrounded by lush vegetation. The ladies at reception were so friendly and helpful. They organised all of our tours and called a taxi when we needed one. The facilities around the property were spectacular, and we loved getting to swim in the pool at night. It felt magical. It was quite overcast while we were there, so we didn’t have the view of the volcano, but that didn’t detract from the amazing environment at all. Great variety for breakfast. Close to many restaurants and the town centre. Highly recommend!

The owner is very nice and he will give you good advices if you ask. Great toasts with avocado and eggs for breakfast.

Guests can make meals in the fully equipped kitchen that features kitchenware, a microwave and a tea and coffee maker. Our stay at Villa Campo’s was amazing, we wished we had more time there! The property is incredible, you feel a part of nature with the surrounding mountains, the beautiful landscape, and the natural sounds of the world. It is very tranquil. Only a short ride into town. We saw lots of birds and even a sloth on the property. The room was created very intentionally with everything you could need - a big bed, bug net, fans, warm blankets, towels, hot water, kettle, coffee pot + coffee, mini fridge. A table inside and outside with a beautiful view of the sunrise. Our favorite part was probably Campo and Jeronima though! What a lovely family who treated us like old friends, made us coffee and breakfast and talked with us all morning. They also welcomed our dog Lilah. We would love to come back next time we visit Costa Rica! Only 30 minutes from incredible waterfalls as well.

This cloud forest accommodation is absolutely amazing. Well off the beaten tourist path. The last section of road is rocky so you’ll need to take it slow. The great thing is, breakfast and dinner are included as the location is fairly remote. There are a few sodas down the road to get a meal at though. We thoroughly enjoyed being immersed in our cloud forest experience, and never saw any other visitors. This is a hidden gem for those that want to enjoy the cloud forest. Your stay also includes a complimentary guided walk!

Bitzu Dome-Bijagua Riverside Glamping ligger ca. 37 km fra Miravalles Volcano og har grillfaciliteter, balkon og udsigt til floden. The Bitzu dome is one of the most unique places I’ve ever stayed. The dome itself is spacious and comfortable with all of the necessities right there. The host Alex is a very nice guy and very responsive and helpful. He worked with me through some traveling troubles due to a tropical storm and helped me out a lot. I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality. I highly recommend the Bitzu dome and Bijagua in general if you want to be somewhere a little less touristy and truly get to appreciate the Costa Rican Culture.
