Chris the host was very friendly and helpful and communicated well right from the start. He greeted me at the caravan and handed over the keys and explained everything I needed to know. He also gave me directions from the train station when I rang him as I wasn't sure. Whilst basic, the caravan was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of blankets and duvets provided which meant I was warm in bed. It was of course basic, but that's part of the charm of it. The description on booking.com is very accurate and honest. Torches (flashlights) were provided and also power banks (fast charging) for charging devices which all worked really well. Whilst I was there the temperature got down to - 7 Celsius at night on two of the nights, however Chris has already accounted for this and drafted in and extra heater which was very much appreciated. Accomodation is very retro and basic however this was not a problem for me and I really liked it. Would definitely stay again. Hopefully when it's warmer. Chris also had good local knowledge and provided me with a contact number straight after I booked. He also managed my expectations well when I initially booked a d explained everything accurately and honestly. Location was amazing. Tucked away in a little courtyard and very quiet and I felt very safe. I slept very well every night. Also very close to the main train station , less than a 2 minute walk to the tunnel through to the train station and an 8 minute walk to the central bus station. Chris provided advice on public transport and tickets too.

Schwarze Adler ligger indenfor 32 km fra Brose Arena Bamberg og har restaurant, en have, en terrasse og en bar. Luksusteltet har både gratis wi-fi og privat parkering. Et virkeligt charmerende sted. Ligger i meget rolige omgivelser, med en skøn udsigt. Man kan spise på stedet til en fornuftig pris. Sød værtinde.
