It was just as wonderful as I had imagined. Dinner and breakfast were also delicious. The tajine pot was especially tasty. There was a bathtub in the room, and since it was very windy and cold at Abu Simbel Temple, it was nice to be able to soak in the bathtub when we got home. I asked a driver to drive me here from Aswan Airport, and he was very helpful. I am very grateful. I have been to Giza, Cairo, and Luxor, but The Nubian House in Abu Simbel was a place where time passed slowly, and we woke up to the birds singing. It was an unforgettable and wonderful memory for us. Thank you very much❤️

Wow there is soooo much to love here, the family running their business and all the extended family and friends that are around were all so welcoming friendly and kind, staying in a peaceful Nubian village close to the city here you can feel so much peace, connection with nature, community and Nubian culture. I loved waking up in this beautiful garden. The food is also delicious- multiple amazing chefs- freshly cooked meals- ingredients from the garden! Many activities that you can arrange here from Felluca trips, desert camping, camel rides, boat tours etc. it’s easy to reach the city from here by the ferry boat or their private boat so don’t worry about being out of the city- the location is perfect. So much love for this place, if you are considering don’t hesitate just book- this is your sign…

The owner, Mr. Omar (Gandhi) was very helpful, attentive and knowledgable. He helped all of the guests with organizing trips to sights around Aswan and provided useful tips and information about the area and the country as a whole. The staff working there were nice and caring. They made the whole stay a very pleasant experience. The beds where comfortable, there were enough bathrooms and the location was great, just by the Nile. The price was also very reasonable. I'd book this place again without hesitation.

The nature here is stunning, the family are so wonderful and friendly, organising our tours, helping us with everything we needed. Anything you need, you can just ask them and they will help you to feel comfortable and at home. Also fresh goat milk with our tea in the morning, so good!
