We had a very good stay at River Nest Hostel in Kampot. The hostel has a great, relaxed atmosphere and is beautifully located by the river. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the common areas are perfect for relaxing and socialising. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay even better. We would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

I stayed in one of the hobbit huts right next to the natural pool, and it was such a peaceful spot. The natural pool was quiet and serene, perfect for a swim or just chilling by the water. The rainwater pool was great for a longer dip, and the shaded jacuzzi pool was ideal after a day of exploring. Plus, I loved having access to the steam room and sauna – a nice way to unwind each evening. The food was simple but so good. The Buddha bowls were my go-to – fresh, healthy, and tasty. Fresh coconuts were a daily treat, too. There’s also a minimart just a short walk away with cheese and chocolate, so I made sure to stock up on those little indulgences! I also took full advantage of the yoga center just around the corner. The sunrise and sunset sessions were the perfect way to start and end the day. There’s something about stretching out while the sun rises or sets over the landscape that just makes the whole experience feel even more special. The staff really made the place stand out, too. They were all so friendly, funny, and easygoing – they really created a relaxed vibe that made the place feel like home. Bohemiaz isn’t just about the beautiful setting – it’s a place that feels welcoming and unpretentious, where you can just be yourself. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic retreat in Kampot, this is the place.

Staff is very welcoming and helpful, the owner is attentive to his guest needs and a wonderful person to have a chat with. The location offers multiple activities, there is the waterfall, a zip line, hiking spots and relaxing locations all around the complex you are also not far from the town center. The restaurant offers western and local food options and it was good. My whole experience was a highlight itself, I felt welcomed and at home. I want to thank the staff and the owner for making this experience memorable and hope to be back soon.
