We were told repeatedly not to bother with Aberdeen as there is nothing there. However, we had a lovely stoppover with nice friendly hosts. They are working on adding a new coffee shop, so I can only guess the place will be even better.

The tents are wonderful and sitting on the terrace watching the wild giraffes and other wildlife was hands down under the top 5 travel experiences we experienced in our lifes. I highly recommend going there also with children and to show them the wildlife of SA with a huge variety of animals. The Braai in the evening is another highlight featuring the best products like organic butter or meat. Do yourself a favor and don’t rush it. We stayed for 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer as you really experience the pleasure of a spot where time stands still. Thank you for having us. We will for sure come back ❤️

Offering free toiletries and bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. This location is the perfect couples getaway. All of the rooms are at least 40 meters apart and boast some magnificient views of the Zuurberg mountains. Dinner and drinks prices were more than acceptable and Camp Figtree was the highlight of my month long stay in South Africa. Staff were amazing too and we especially enjoyed our interactions with Siya and Mzi.

The Safari Lodge was beyond expectations. Fantastic welcoming staff who couldn't do enough to make your stay an unforgettable experience. The food and accomodation was superb and your every need was catered for..Will stay again when next in SA.

Located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve, Woodbury Tented Camp offers an authentic outdoor experience in safari tents. The camp overlooks the ancient floodplain of the Bushmans River. Perfekt beliggenhed med udsigt over savannen både fra dit telt, poolen samt morgenmadsterrassen. Vi så næsehorn, løver og flere andre dyr på lang afstand herfra. Teltene var store og du har mulighed for at oplade kamera da der var elektricitet. Der var også aircondition - som dig ikke var så klædeligt i teltet. Campen er indhegnet så man føler dig tryk og de har en skøn pool.

Bush Lodge ligger i naturreservatet Amakala Big Five og tilbyder en intim ferieoplevelse. Der er udendørs swimmingpool, udsigtsterrasse samt en række vildtture og vandreture i bushen. Experience of a life time! Amazing!
