The king club suites are fabulous to stay at. The hotel is gorgeous, meticulously maintained grounds. The staff are truly exceptional, from the reception staff at both the main hotel and kings club, to the restaurant team. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, nothing was ever too much trouble, service was impeccable without pretence! If you stay at the Kingsmills, dining at the restaurant is a must. The Ribeye is a particularly good choice,I’d even go as far to say that it’s the best steak in Inverness and they have an exquisite wine selection.

The Loch Ness Country House Hotel offers excellent food and elegant rooms. It is a striking Georgian building in 6 acres of gardens, 3 km from Inverness city centre.

We had a great room looking out over the garden and the mountains in the distance, bathroom was also big with underfloor heating. Bar area had an open fire and a wide selection of whiskies, food - both breakfast and dinner were also good. Able to walk around the grounds and wish we had more time to explore local walks.

We were upgraded to the Finlay suite free. It was quaint and huge. Absolutely beautiful view across the bay. Breakfast was lovely although it would have been nice to be able to finish toast before the hot food arrived. Receptionist was absolutely lovely. The Hotel was gorgeous and the grounds are divine
