The room is not large, but this is typical in Scotland. The bathroom is nice and clean. The hotel’s location is excellent, one of the best in St. Andrews. The staff is friendly and tries to meet expectations. There is a very large selection of whiskey at the bar, which has a cozy atmosphere. From the restaurant, there is a view of the sea. Delicious breakfast, very nice breakfast room, some tables with a view of the sea. Coffee and tea set. Water. Beer. Snacks included in the room price.

Greyfriars Hotel is centrally located in St Andrews. Ideally situated within easy walking distance to many University Departments and buildings, shops, The Old Course.

The location was great, we could walk everywhere in St Andrews. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful and the breakfast delicious.

Breakfast was very good. The staff were attentive and very polite. The bathrobes and towels were fluffy. The gym was fantastically equipped and a a nice space overall. Despite a lot of families with small children staying in the hotel, our corridor was very quiet. The view from our room was spectacular. We came for peace and quiet in pleasant surroundings and we definitely got our wish.

Cosy hotel. The staff is very nice, greeting you with a sincere smile. Large selection on the breakfast menu. Rooms clean, well-equipped, comfortable bed. Silence in the hotel. Full comfort, good rest. Great location.
