Hotel Eden sits in Praz, a 2-minute drive from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc's town centre and 100 metres from Flegere cable car. Most of the rooms have views of the Chamonix Valley or Mont Blanc. With only one room available, you truly get the sense of having this vast historic castle all to yourself. The room is enormous — 72 square meters — beautifully decorated with antique furniture that makes you feel like time has paused just for you. The private bathroom with walk‑in shower adds modern comfort, while the views down the hill are simply breathtaking. Breakfast was a delight: a continental buffet with fresh juice, local cheeses, and fruits that set the perfect tone for the day. The setting is wonderfully peaceful, with a sun terrace and garden to enjoy, plus free WiFi when you want to reconnect. Activities like walking, biking, and hiking tours are available, and nearby gems like Lyon and the medieval village of Pérouges make exploring easy. What really made the stay special was the hostess, Isabelle — warm, welcoming, and attentive, she made us feel completely at home. For dining, the nearby La Bicyclette Bleue restaurant is a great spot to savor local specialties. In short: a truly unique and relaxing escape, where history, comfort, and Isabelle’s hospitality come together beautifully.

One of the highlights was the incredibly comfortable mattress, which provided a deep and restful sleep every night. The large garden was another highlight. Shaded by tall, mature walnut trees, it offered the perfect space to unwind with a book or simply enjoy the sounds of nature. Whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the garden is a peaceful haven for relaxation and quiet moments. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking calm, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality in a beautiful rural setting.

Beautiful, cozy little apartment, where only high quality equipment is used and every detail is carefully designed. Very comfortable bed, elegant bathroom, many desk games, fully equipped kitchen. Communication with the owner was also nice, very quick and informative responses. One of the best stays for me.

So warm and welcoming, incredible amenities, amazing food. Impeccable attention to detail. The hot tub, the sauna, the gym, all top notch. . . my son's favorite was the movie room. They even made us popcorn to enjoy in there one night. We will definitely return!
