Only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is perched very high in Brunate, so to get down you either have to take the car through the winding and tight roads, or take the funicular… if you take the funicular - don’t try to walk up from it - just trust Massimo when he tells you that it’s a good idea to have them drive you there… it is a rough, highly vertical hike back.
