We took an economy room but got an upgrade for free to a superior room with a private jacuzzi, without asking anything. It was a great surprise. The room was beautiful and well equipped. Free drinks were available in the room freezer, the jacuzzi was ready, everything was perfect to have a great evening. The breakfast was included and absolutely delicious (a LOT of different things to eat). We'll come again for sure.

The place really makes a great first impression, the reception has a blackboard with the name of each guest arriving that day, a small but very thoughtful gesture. Very large room with lovely wooden furniture, a bath tub that was much appreciated after hiking. They even have a gym which can be used on rainy days. Super close to the Kronplatz 2000 cable car station. They pride themselves on being a family hotel and they excel in making the guests feel like part of that family. The champagne breakfast is very impressive and so is the cocktail menu in their evening bar.
