I’m not even sure where to begin — our stay in Ikuno was truly unforgettable. Our host, Rehan (a fellow South African living in Ikuno), went above and beyond for us. He offered to fetch us in Kobe walked us around the city, drove us all the way to Ikuno and even organised the most incredible meal for us at the local izakaya. His kindness set the tone for the whole stay. The accommodation itself was breathtaking - a beautifully renovated traditional company house that felt both historic and homely. Spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. One of my favourite moments was waking up to the sound of rain and looking out at the trees on the mountain. Pure magic. I would recommend this stay in a heartbeat. The accommodation is remarkable, the town is enchanting, and Rehan’s generosity, passion, and knowledge made the experience feel genuinely special. This was my favourite part of my entire trip in Japan and moments I will never forget. Thank you Rehan, cannot wait to visit again!

The private house was very spacious and cozy. The owner was nice and friendly and recommended us some good restaurants. The newly built bathroom was clean. It might be difficult to access if you don’t have a car. A convenience store, a public bath and some good restaurants locate five mins away from the place. Good place for the price.

I stayed here with a friend while I was visiting Kinosakionsen, Yuko and her family were extremely nice and welcoming! The house was beautiful, homely and had everything we needed, it was exactly as the name implied. The town and surrounding area are a must to see in Japan and if and when I return, I will definitely stay again! It's slightly further from the town center, so it's perfect for cycling and sightseeing, I recommend to anyone visiting Kinosakionsen!

Taketoritei Maruyama is a non-smoking Japanese-style accommodation featuring natural hot spring baths for private use and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Great Ryokan in Arima-onsen with all private bath both inside and outside and very clean perfectly mixing modern amenities and traditional Japanese rooms. The Kaiseki restaurant was also great with Japanese seasonal food. Highly recommend this Ryokan

Founded in the 12th century and beloved by Junichiro Tanizaki and other Japanese novelists, Tosen Goshobo is the oldest of the hot-spring inns at Arima. The hotel room was different from any hotel we had ever been. Very Japanese typical style. Everything was provided. There was even a massage chair for our private use. In the evenings while we were at dinner, the staff set up the futon beds which were very comfortable to sleep in. Before bed, we ordered Shiatsu massages, which were exceptional. The food was good! Breakfast was definitely typical Japanese style. The Onsen was amazing. The water felt so healing.

The premise is well located in this beautiful and peaceful town of Fukusaki. She lays against the sacred mountain, facing the fundamental of Japan: rice field. It is very meaningful. The building is amazingly reversed and maintained. I can see how much effort Yamada san and local people spent to make sure this historical architecture will be in the best status to demonstrate the local history to the people coming from the world. The staying experience is fantastic. I and my wife found your hotel on the internet. We were not sure whether this would be satisfying my family. It turned this was one of the best decision in my time as a tourist. We all love the staying here and we all highly impressed by Yamada san meticulous and consistent high level is customer service. Yamada san is being very responsive from the beginning when we were exchanging info by emails. The SOP (standard operation process) sheet is the the first time that we ever see. Even though we have use the translator from time to time, Yamada san are very patient and are so kind. Thanks to Yamada san for arranging the tea ceremony. It is impressive experience. And thank you for arranging taxi and guiding us the way to the railway station. Again, the house owner Yamada san is very kind. We are all impressed by everything. Yamada san takes care of us ^_^very well. If we have more time, we definitely would choose to stay more nights.

ワンコと泊まるジャスミンクリーク ligger i Toyooka, 13 km fra Toyooka City History Museum, og har gratis cykler, en have og direkte adgang til pisterne samt gratis privat parkering. We felt so welcomed in this Inn while traveling with our dog. The room was wide with very comfortable beds, kitchen and spacious, clean bathroom. Big surprise was large dog run/ garden and onsen that you can use privately. Our dog enjoyed running in the garden and the view of the garden from the room.
