The beach cottage is bright, charming and comfortable. Right on the beach and has a spacious porch for sitting. We enjoyed grilling one night with meat a local service delivered. A pleasant stay- I’d recommend.

The house was meticulously designed, clean and thoughtfully prepared (even Pajamas were provided!). The breakfast prepared exceeded my expectations as the landlady hand delivered different food every day. We requested to have a BBQ on the first night in and she set up the facilities for us ahead of time. Everything was so thoroughly prepared and we felt so well taken care of. One of the best apartments I’ve stayed in a long time. Highly highly recommend.

Yurakuan Miyazaki ligger i Miyazaki, 7,6 km fra Oyodo River Study Center og 11 km fra Miyazaki Phoenix Zoo. The hotel is located next to the Oyodo river which is great for running og walking along. We were welcomed by the friendly staff which made us very welcome. They had a number of written information sheets in English about the hotel and facilities which was great as our Japanese is limited and so was their English. The room was with tatami flooring and futon mattresses. The bathroom was a totally covered outdoor space which although in winter was great. It was chilly to start with but quickly warmed up when you either started the shower or began to fill the bath. The last being a wonderful wooden bath. There was free parking right by the hotel. Although the room was with no meal plan they provided toast and butter/jam for breakfast free of charge together with the complimentary coffee/tea. I would definitely stay at Yurakuan Miyazaki if I came back to town.

Tabist Guest house Pumping Surf ligger i Hyuga, 20 km fra Totoro-kō, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. The shared facilities were great - there's a big, comfy shared area with a well equipped kitchen, and showers and toilets are clean and plentiful. Our beds were pretty comfy. It's right next to a path to the beach - about a 10 minute walk. Good wetsuits and boards to rent too, and the beach had good beginner waves.

Route Inn Grantia Aoshima Taiyokaku ligger i Miyazaki, mindre end 1 km fra Kodomo-no-Kuni og 1,6 km fra Aoshima Shrine, og har et spa- og wellnesscenter. We were on a road trip visiting the entire Kyushu Island, and we started from Kagoshima. This hotel was our second stop after much driving and site seeing. Quiet location up the hill and amongst residential houses. Sufficient parking as well. Good sizable rooms too. The rooms that we had were tatami typed with only toilets but no bath. Hence for bath and showers it was "public bath" that includes onsen. Pretty good onsen - both indoor and outdoor. During the period we were there hotel appeared to be pretty occupied with guests but as we wander about the property we don't find many people around and about, and definitely the public bath and onsen were not crowded at all. Only noted the crowd, but that too not extremely crowded, during morning breakfast. Good thing is they segregate breakfast timing to avoid overly crowded in the dinning hall. Breakfast options were with acceptable spread with offers of options able to cater to most palate.

Right on the Hyuga-Nada Sea, ANA Holiday Inn Resort Miyazaki (formerly Palm Beach Hotel) features an indoor swimming pool, karaoke and 4 dining options. This is a calm spot in front of the beach. We paid 110 a night for a room on one of the two top floor. Sure this hostel is old but our room was spotless!

Phoenix Seagaia Ocean Tower ligger i Miyazaki, 4,1 km fra Miyazaki Phoenix Zoo, og har gratis cykler, en sæsonåben udendørs swimmingpool og et fitnesscenter samt gratis privat parkering. Nice hotel. Nice area. The staff were helpful.
