If you decide to stay here you’ll get a traditional Japanese house for yourselves. We were just a couple but it can easily contain a family of 5. There is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet. The owner was very generous and picked us up from the train station upon our arrival and dropped us off there on our way out. We used the e-bikes that are offered by the owner for free to get around and we also took them with us to Naoshima which was a great help for getting around there. Overall we had a great stay and would gladly come back.

Amazing experience! Very friendly, kind, and helpful staff. We enjoyed the onsen, as well as the open-air bath on our patio. We dined in both izikaya restaurant and also the chef's set-menu. Both were fantastic! They even made a special vegetarian meal which was so delicious! Such a great place and the free shuttle from Okayama Station was very easy to arrange.

Owner and host Sakisan is lovely and we had a fun evening with her and other fellow travellers and hearing some traditional music being played. Some caring and thoughtful touches to the facilities. We had a good overnight sleep and rest before continuing our journey, and enjoyed waking up to the lovely Mimasaka country-side. Great value and a memorable experience. Thank you Saki-san!

The owner was so lovely and helpful. pointed out local places to see etc. the place itself is very traditional and you feel like you are really in Japan here. we had the place to ourselves, so it was really quiet,but our room was open to the stairs above the walls to the shared kitchen below, but eveyone goes to bed early anyway.
