The Su Hotel holds a special place in my heart. My husband and I stayed here on our first visit to Turkey 30 yrs ago when were just married and semi-backing our way through the country. While we were a bit worried that we would be disappointed, we were happy to find the hotel to be much the same. Although there have been some upgrades and building additions, the Su hotel was almost as we remembered it to be. It's a quiet and relaxing oasis in bustling tourist town. The owners and staff were very warm and accommodating. On this visit, we brought along our college age daughter and my sister -- our first stop on a 3-1/2 week trip along the turquoise coast of Turkey. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights before a 7-day sailing trip aboard a traditional Turkish Gulet. The rooms are simply furnished, but immaculate. Each room also has a private balcony or terrace area where we would often enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. There is a lovely large pool in the central courtyard surrounded by colorful flowers, tables and sun loungers. Perfect after a hot day of sightseeing. A basic turkish breakfast buffet is served every morning and the kitchen can also provide lunch and dinner upon request. There's also a bar that will stay open as long as there are guests to serve! The grounds are very clean and well-maintained. The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk to the restaurants, boutiques, and nightlife along the harbor. It's about a 10 minute walk to the ancient theater. After 30 yrs., the Su Hotel did not disappoint.

Right outside the villa you can get the local bus to the city center which takes maybe 20 minutes with all the stops. Lovely way to experience the local culture too. Really lovely quiet area to come home at night or chill all day when youre not feeling upto to the loud busy streets of the center, Very clean and fully equipped with everything one needs. Very spacious villa, and the pool is brilliant to have to yourselves.
