The place is stunning, we got the room with the terrace and you can see many of the glacier outlets. Very peacefully place. Self checking very easy. Room, bathroom and showers very clean and bed super comfortable. Really close to Höfn and Vestrahorn, really quiet place to get a good rest. Recommended for sure.

We were so surprised when we arrived! House is even better than on photos. It is SO COZY!! There are so many little details, it is amazing. Once we arrived there we started to have a super good mood. There is everything that you can need and everything is in a very good state. Also we watched a netflix film on TV, it is super cool that there is a modern TV. I traveled in 25 countries and stayed in different hotels and guesthouses and this Haukaberg House is literally the best where I have stayed! I found no disadvantages at all. Bravo👏🏻

Perfect location, a unique suite with a breathtaking view of the mountains. We loved the floors! The bathroom was very cozy and clean. Will definitely come back to spend a night or two in the area.

Very nice guesthouse, located 40 min from Diamond beach and Glietcher lagoon. Ideal for one night stay. Our room was spacious, worm and with nice views. The breakfast is rich and delicious. If you don’t arrive late you can have a dinner- the lamb from their farm was soo delicious.
