What a wonderful surprise to have discovered B&B Stirnimann for our two night stay while touring Switzerland. The area is peaceful and lovely and the stay was everything we could ever want and more. Our hosts offered us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The accommodations were not just clean but absolutely spotless and our room was cozy, spacious and very comfortable. We were allowed to use the full kitchen and living room and porch in addition to our room and that was such a treat for us on our long trip. The best part you ask? The best part was Hedi our host who we instantly adored. She is a gracious, funny, kind and friendly force of nature who made sure we were comfortable, offered touring and local information and provided us with a full delicious breakfast. There are some people and places that enhance a trip in special ways that you know you will never forget. Staying at B&B Stirnimann and meeting Hedi will hold a special place in our memory and we hope to return someday.

The place exceeded my expectation a little bit in regards to cleanliness, quietness, proximity to large shops and train station. The host, Jeremy, is a chill, very easy going guy. I felt like I was living there for years.

Ambrosia Guesthouse ligt in Rheinfelden, op 18 km van Basler Pfalz en 18 km van S AM Schweizerisches Architekturmuseum. The Ambrosia Guesthouse completely exceeded my expectations! Check-in with co-owner Anthony was quick and friendly, with great tips for visiting the beautiful medieval town of Rheinfelden. The room is attractively decorated with many little unexpected extras, such as bedside charging stations with multiple ports and high quality toiletries (soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner). The room was clean and comfortable, with blinds and dark curtains for a good sleep. The location is excellent, being only 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk to the old town. The neighbourhood is quiet, clean and safe. In the morning we enjoyed a lovely fresh breakfast, much of which is homemade by the charming Nathalie and Anthony. The breakfast area is bright and charming, with many lovely little treats and unlimited coffee! We will definitely return again next year when visiting Art Basel, which is easily reached by train and tram from this location.

The hotel was very delightful. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The faculties were great, clean, modern, comfortable. The breakfast staff were helpful and attentive, with great coffee and bread with jams. And the location was walking distance to most in-town things.

It was exactly the cute guesthouse I had imagined, in the most adorable village, with the sweetest staff, close to everything you could possibly need. Highly recommended from me ❤️❤️

Gasthof zur Waag in Bad Zurzach is gebouwd in 1586 en ligt dicht bij de rivier de Rijn, aan de rand van het Zwarte Woud. This was a lovely hotel in an old building with a beautiful courtyard. Our room was quite comfortable. Our hosts and all staff were so accommodating and helpful and the food was exceptional for dinner and breakfast! It was close to the train station to take a day trip to Zurich. I just wish we could have stayed longer.
