Guest House 来夢 bevindt zich in Otaru, op 4 minuten lopen van Station Otaru, en biedt conciërgediensten, rookvrije kamers, een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een gedeelde lounge. The proximity of the guest house was very close to the station, and the host and hostess, Funa and Kimi were extremely kind and helpful. The introduction to their guest house was very thoroughly, and made sure everyone was warm after traveling through the winter snow and temperature. Not only were the hosts very friendly and willing to chat, but they even provided and help make reservations at recommended restaurants! When I asked where I could find a furoshiki I could purchase for a souvenir, Kimi kindly offered one she had for me to take home as a souvenir! I had a great time chatting with them while waiting for my train to the next destination. They were even helping some other guests with translation of medical documents due to an injury received while skiing. Funa and Kimi are the perfect host to anyone staying in Otaru! I stayed in the Japanese style room and wish I could have stayed longer. Next time I go to Otaru, there's no doubt I'll be staying with them again!

Guest House Yamada ligt in Date, op 25 km van Toyameer en 31 km van station Usu, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. We came to Hokkaido to snowboard at Niseko/Rusutsu in February, and this place was a wonderful cozy home stay for our trip! You definitely need a car to get here, and it's about an 1hr drive to either ski resort. However, despite the distance, the place was really warm and clean, and the hosts made us feel at home. Every day they provided a variety of breakfast and coffee, cleared snow off our car, checked in on us to see if we made it to the nearby onsen for our evening baths, and even had laundry. There are mini heaters in the room that are powerful enough to keep the room warm, and the blankets provided are so comfy! The hosts themselves are incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here!!

Very nice living for a good price, friendly owner willing to help us, fully equipped apartment with a kitchen, utensils and such, nice common rooms with pretty much anything a tourist might need

What an amazing place to stay. Kanji and Marilyn made this place feel like home: Their warmth and hospitality (and amazing sense of humor) were the highlights of this place. As well as the incredible food, beautiful views, a comfortable room, that had everything you needed! Just perfect! Every detail is thought of at this beautiful place!

Sapporo Guest House 庵 Anne is gelegen in Sapporo, op 7,7 km van Otarushi Zenibako City Center, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. We had an amazing breakfast! It was a bit cold in the mornings but didn't take away from the experience much. The owner was so kind and helpful and even invited us to karaoke.

Exceptional host, beautiful view, spacious and clean room, tasteful decoration with art prints and tea set. Saeko-san is a gracious host who knows so much about the Lake Toya region. She made us a beautiful breakfast every morning and gave us advice for things to do. A memorable trip with a kind host.

Opopo home 竜宮店 bevindt zich in Otaru, op minder dan 1 km van Station Otaru, en biedt uitzicht op de bergen. Dit pension met 1 ster biedt een gedeelde lounge, een bagageopslagruimte en gratis WiFi. Everything! Owners are very friendly, amazing and helpful. Rooms are so nice and cozy. Common area is lovely and cute too. Quite area, easily accessible to train station n the canal area. I would love to stay longer but timing doesn't allowed. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Otaru. Highly recommended! Thank you so much!!

AEON market near the station, and a lot of restaurants in this area, super convenient. The best part is the owner and the guests I've met, love their hospitality and the atmosphere at this place.
