The best hostel I've ever stayed in! The host TRULY cares about his guests, organizes barbecues, keeps everything very clean and offers help at anytime. I stayed in the single bed room and would always do so again!

Ze maken er daar echt iets moois van en ik denk dat het in de loop van de tijd steeds mooier zou worden.

The dormitory is very confortable. The guesthouse is close to the ferry terminal so it's easy if you want to visit some island around :) Last but not least the owners are very nice and helpfull. I had a great time here :)

We chose to stay here for 2 weeks while working remotely and had an absolutely wonderful stay at Andy & Haruko’s property. Guest House Ishigaki is a beautiful, extremely clean, and well-designed house equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Farmer’s Market and tons of great shops and restaurants are a stone’s throw away, as well as the ferry to other nearby islands. We really appreciated Andy & Haruko’s attention to sustainability throughout, and their thoughtful touches, like the cold jasmine tea in the fridge at all times to cool down from the heat. We had let them know in advance that we would be working remotely and they even created a desk space for us in our room. And the beds were SO comfortable - we had the best sleeps here of our 2 months in Japan. Though the location and amenities were amazing, the best part about our stay was undoubtedly the people; Andy, Haruko and Yuichiro are some of the loveliest people who genuinely care about their guests. We could not have wished for anything more!

It had many conveniences like: entrance on ground level, bus stop within 25m, grocery store within 25m, area to hang wet clothes/ towels, in case of rain there is a laundromat within 100m, kitchen, toilets with bidet and two showers. Best of all, amazing atmosphere, staff is very helpful and nice! Eating dinner together Friday night was very enjoyable!

Jordy and Eriko are great hosts, very knowledgeable about the island with useful guidance for activities and restaurants in English, French and Japanese. Jordy even brought us some fresh organic tomatoes from their farm. The property overlooks the sea and the beach is a few steps down, secluded at high tide but opens up for long scenic walks as the tide recedes. The waters are calm even on windy days as the waves break on a reef far offshore. There a quite a few good local restaurants close by. The property is centrally located from where you can reach almost any point on the island in a maximum of 30 drive. The house is spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, kayaks, bicycles, small catamaran, snorkeling equipment, rash guards and beach footwear are conveniently available. We really enjoyed our stay at Oceanos and will book again when we return to Ishigakijima

This is a magical place, with the kindest of hosts. I won't say more, just stay here. And get the breakfast, get the breakfast, get the breakfast.

VACANCE club bevindt zich in Ishigaki, op 2,9 km van Strand Shanishani, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. You basically get a whole apartment in a very nice and quiet area and the owner even supplied some drinks and snacks. Amazing value for money. Just make sure you have a rental car to make it a lot easier to get around.
