Beautiful views, excellent staff and we loved all the natural beauty of the property. Would stay again on my next visit to Omeptepe. The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

We loved staying at El Peregrino. The room was clean and tidy, we got fresh towels everyday. The kitchen is huge and with absolutely everything you need! The pool table is amazing if you just want a chill night in and a chat with other guests. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful, with the most amazing view on the volcano. The host Jose is the sweetest guy, he helped us with everything we needed.

Ananda Guesthouse bevindt zich in Balgue, op 12 km van vulkaan Maderas, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een barbecue. David the Manager of the guesthouse was really nice and helpful and we felt welcomed very much also by the rest of the staff. The garden is a perfect relaxing spot with one of the best views of the island. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and very clean. We can highly recommend Ananda!

What an incredible place, good views and excellent vibes, the atmosphere was amazing and its a lovely and unique place to relax. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. Danilo took care of all of us, he gave us nice recommendations to explore the area. The accommodation have the essential’s and everything was clean. I really enjoyed the stay, definitely recommend and will come back soon!

Hostal y Mirador la Chaguita was an excellent place to stay. It’s near the ferry in Moyogalpa (although an extra 800 meters farther up the hill than google maps says), and the owners will give you a ride for $1.50 USD (which I recommend - the walk was a lot with luggage). The place is beautiful with amazing views and the hosts/owners are warm and lovely people. They cooked us a delicious breakfast and made fresh juice in the morning, all for a very reasonable price. The hosts were also very responsive via WhatsApp before we arrived, and they helped us arrange transportation for the following day (and can help set up tours, etc if you wish). I definitely recommend staying here!

Casa Caimana bevindt zich in Moyogalpa, op 35 km van vulkaan Maderas, en heeft een tuin en terras. A wonderful privately-owned small B&B in Moyogalpa. A lovely family runs the place and makes sure you have everything you need. Rooms are basic but comfortable, A few blocks from the main area of town, which made for a peaceful and quiet night.

Hostal Xilotl bevindt zich in San José del Sur en biedt een tuin. Gratis privéparkeren beschikbaar is als je de omgeving wilt verkennen, kun je bij het pension ook fietsen huren. Great little place. Host is awesome nothing was too much trouble.

Naast een eigen badkamer hebben kamers bij het pension ook gratis WiFi.... Danilo was the perfect host. The property was very clean and new, with a nice garden area. Danilo was helpful in every aspect. Whether it was getting a great deal for a scooter, or recommendations on where to eat or what activities were available, he was on top of it all. You get a great place to stay and a wealth of information. You will not do better at this price point. Thank you Danilo

Hostal Así es mi Tierra ligt in Balgue, op 12 km van vulkaan Maderas, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. You can tell this hostel was put together over years with care and attention. Furniture is all handmade by local craftsmen, for example. I spent way too much time in one rocking chair that I wanted to take home with me. Estelle the owner and her family give it a very homey touch. Filtered water is free! Highly recommend it.
