This was such an excellent place! The room was bigger and nicer than it looked in the pictures and super comfortable. It’s located a short walk from the plaza de armas and right on the corner for the buses to Chan Chan ruins and the beach. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make us comfortable and welcome.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The house is well located just a few streets from the beach but in a more residential area which was quiet and felt very safe but still easy walking distance to the surf, shops and restaurants. Also conveniently located near a bus stop that can bring you into Trujillo and a great cafe. I stayed in a private room which was comfortable and had shared toilet facilities with warm water. The shared kitchen is well equipped and has drinking water and meals can be enjoyed in several places including the dining room and on the rooftop. The rooftop has good views of the sunset and is great for a cuppa after a surf. There are laundry facilities for use for a very reasonable price and Angel is really helpful for any questions and can help arrange late check out (when available) for those taking a night bus. Also great to have a key to the main house so you can come and go as you like.

Friendly, great location, surf trips really well organised and excellent waves. Diego, Laura and family were wonderful. Will recommend to anyone who wants to surf northern Perú

MAGICPERU BaCKPACKERS ligger i Trujillo, 2 km fra Trujillo Main Square og 2,2 km fra Chan Chan Mud City. The coffee for breakfast was truly amazing. But we only got it on the first morning, the second one, we got tea, who knows why. Room was spacious.

Kitchen had everything you needed and was clean. Claudia was so kind and helpful. They had a surfboard rack and an outdoor shower. Would recommend.
