We were here just before Christmas so the fire place in the lounge area was on and as we were the only guests staying that time it was so wonderful the sit there and read on the evening. Maria and Pedro were so helpful as well.

I was not sure what to expect, but I can honestly say that I felt that I was staying in a mini palace. It was super clean and comfortable rooms with a great bathroom. The location was perfect! I will stay here again when I return to that area. We truly enjoyed our stay. The owner was so hospitable and helpful in every way! Wonderful place!

Het uitzicht bij het ontbijt was prachtig.

We stayed here for just one night with our family, and it was absolutely amazing. The house is both incredibly comfortable and beautifully authentic. It’s decorated in a charming rustic style while offering all the modern comforts. The bathtub was fantastic, and the shower was excellent. Despite the cold weather outside, the house was warm and cozy thanks to the well-functioning heating system and fireplace. The floors were a bit cool, but the bedrooms were perfectly warm, making for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the surrounding area is breathtaking. Patricia, who welcomed and took care of us, was incredibly kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side, so we couldn’t enjoy all the amenities like the pool and jacuzzi, but we would love to return in warmer weather to fully experience everything this place has to offer. The location is truly magical—completely secluded, surrounded by stunning nature, with a small river nearby, grazing sheep, lush greenery, and mountains in the background. Absolute peace and beauty.

Casa D'Avenida is een onlangs gerenoveerd familiehuis in het centrum van Manteigas, in het natuurpark Serra da Estrela. The place was cozy, well-organized, clean, and centrally located. In addition, the people were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help foreigners in every possible way.The food was delicious and enough to make you satisfied. I highly recommend living in this place during any upcoming visit to Manteigas.

The manager arranged an excellent evening meal with a local person when I asked about restaurants (there are none) The room was clean and with working quiet air conditioning
