My stay in this family Guesthouse, run by Rod, Nora and June together, was the highlight of 6 weeks travelling in Thailand. The first night the family took me and some other guests to a great festival near an important temple. Another day Nora and Rod took me out for lunch to eat the best Pad Thai. One morning Nora called me into the kitchen and taught me how to  cook Pad Krapao Moo. Other guests even liked my product! Every morning they serve you a different breakfast with local specialties. Apart from that you get a lot of information about Phetchaburi and its specialties (which are many). They offer a free pickup from and drop off at train or van station. Really great service! I also enjoyed using the free bicycle for exploring the countryside. The location of the Guesthouse is central and quiet, close to the river with a good view from the terrace. If you want to have the real, warm, authentic Thai experience, you must come to A+ Hometel and stay with Rod, Nora and June!

I was able to text to let them know when I would arrive so I could drop my suitcase off, and she gave me a great recommendation for a dinner restaurant. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go (train station, restaurants, Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park) within 30 minutes. Even though the rooms are not AC, I thought the fan kept things plenty cool, and I was very comfortable. They even provided a simple European style breakfast with toast, coffee (instant), tea, and yogurt.
